It all started when Roberto & I were having a conversation about the future of our girls. So we decided to invite Latino leaders to be part of our first "It is Political" meeting. We (as Latinos) felt that we are in a political and social climate that is unfriendly and to some extent hostile. We also felt that as leaders of the community at large need to create the force and strategies to protect our community as well as set goals to be able to gain political power to protect ourselves and our future generations of Latinos in this country. Well we put on our thinking hats and decided that the Time is YA!!!! Ahorita, Now!!! #Thetimeisnow!!!
Eleven of us attended the first meeting. We had Latinos from Vallejo, Fairfield, Suisun City & Vacaville.
It was a diverse group of business owners, community advocates and professionals!!!! I took the selfie -yes, I know it's not that great-! LOL.
We believe Juntos logramos MAS!!!!.
